Core Programs

AFI seeks to become a recognized leader in serving African immigrant and refugee-led organizations in the United States that serves African communities in the United States and Africa. AFI programs and projects are developed based on the collective needs identified during local and national meetings with African serving organizations in the United States. AFI Core Programs includes Organizational Development and Capacity Building and Competitive Small Grants Program. These programs exist to provide technical and financial assistance to AFI’s membership organizations.
